16 Memories

  1. Dear Walker Family, I loved your sweet mother and thought of her as a friend. I work as a Computer Prep-time teacher at Park School and we would attend training together. Even though I only saw her 4 times a year I felt close to her as we would talk about our families and work. She loved her family! She would talk about how wonderful you are to me and how much she loved you. I am so sad for your lose and mine. I missed her at our last training and I hope the notes we sent helped her understand how much we miss her. I will for ever remember her sweet smile and strong personality. She really endured a lot and did it well. Love her so much! Sending my prayers your way. Lorie Graham

While no words may ease the pain of your loss, I offer my sincere condolence. As you reflect on Shae’s life and the happiness she contributed to yours, may the God of all comfort be with you. Also know she is no longer suffering the ill effects of cancer, she is simply sleeping in death. And there will be a time when we can be reunited with our dead loved ones. Jesus said: “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” (John 5:28,29) Please accept my deepest sympathy and a warm invitation for you to find more comfort at

  9. Shocked to have read this today, while serving in Hawaii on a mission. I have always loved Bart and Shae, although, not from a close relationship, but from a friendly one, through all the years. I had no idea Shae was having health challenges. Thank goodness for the atonement and for the Plan of Salvation. I know she is out of pain and suffering, and is having a joyous reunion with her Mom and sister. She will be missed temporarily by her family, but they will all join her soon. Thoughts and prayers go out to Bart and his family, and to Shae’s siblings and family.

Shae (Mrs. Walker) helped me learn how to be a computer planning time technician. I was just starting out and she invited me to her classroom to see how she did things. I was amazed at how patient and loving she was with the children. She knew they were capable of great things, and helped them feel confident in the skills she taught them. I have enjoyed our contact with each other through the years, and will miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with her sweet family, and all that knew and loved her.

  12. Karl Rothe
