Rita Brimhall Davis

Rita Brimhall Davis, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 77. She was born May 3rd, 1940 to Donald Reed Brimhall and Jane Hall in Lake Shore, UT.

Rita grew up and attended schools in Payson where she graduated from Payson High School. She later met the love of her life, Monte L. Davis and married him on May 16, 1958. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti temple. Together they had five children Creg Monte (deceased), Kevin (deceased), Blake Reed (deceased), Mark, and Ryan.

Rita used her many talents in her years of employment, including being a seamstress and working at Spanish Fork Jr. High as a lunch worker. She enjoyed cross-stitching, crocheting, making porcelain dolls, sewing, reading, and spoiling her grandchildren.

Rita was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she served in several callings including working in the library for several years, family history, and being a temple worker at the Provo and Payson temples.

Rita is survived by her husband, Monte Davis, her children: Mark (Nikki) Davis of Spring Lake, and Ryan (SuAnn) Davis of Hurricane. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Friends and family are welcome to a viewing on Wednesday from 11:00am to 12:00 pm at the Loafer View church at 1129 South 250 West, Salem. followed by a graveside service at 1:00pm at the Salem City cemetery.
