  1. Michelle (Cuff) Austin

Mr. Record was my 6 and 7 grade teacher in Fort Jones. He made learning interesting! He was also a great basketball coach and led our elementary girls teams to victory. I remember one year we were preparing for the annual Christmas program at school and one of the songs chosen was LET THERE BE PEACE ON EARTH. He really loved that song! When our Sunday school asked Yvonne LaMarr -Berry and I to sing it one Sunday we called him and invited him to come and hear us sing. That Sunday we peeked around the door at the congregation before we went out to sing and there in the back pew there sat Mr. Record and his wife. They took time out of their Sunday morning to hear 2 young ladies sing a beloved song.
Mr. Record, may your eternal Rest be peaceful. May God Bless your family with peace and strength .

  2. You raised an amazing daughter, Uncle Hollis.
