Douglas Jeffrey Julian


Douglas Jeffrey Julian, of Salem, UT passed away one day before his 18th birthday, on Saturday, Aug. 5th, 2017.  He was born in Murray, Utah August 6th 1999 to Douglas Glen and Tracy (Cromar) Julian. He was beginning his senior year at Salem Hills High School; starting for the Varsity football and wrestling teams.

He was an avid fisherman and outdoor enthusiast. He was passionate about football and wrestling. He loved to read and enjoyed a wide range of music. He loved and was loved by many friends and family alike. Doug was proud to be an honor student. His passion and dedication was made evident in the things he did and accomplished. Doug’s desire to help others was apparent in the quite way he built others up and made everyone laugh. He was always willing to help out when asked or needed. He loved seminary and serving in his church and school activities.

Doug is survived by his parents Doug and Tracy Julian of Salem and his sisters: C.J. Nielsen, Jolynn Weight, and Sabrina Poulson. He is also survived by his beloved nephew Hostin Nielsen and niece Leah Weight.  He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. Doug is preceded in death by his Uncle, Jeffrey Cromar, his grandparents Marlene & Glen Julian and Darlene & Howard Cromar.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 11th at the Salem West Stake Center located:

695 S. 300 W. in Salem, Utah.  A viewing will be held 10:00am – 11:30am.  Funeral services will be held from 12:00pm – 1:30pm.  Interment will be in the Salem City Cemetery following the funeral service.

    old. My bike chain popped off when I was near the
    Julians . So I stopped at the Julians and asked
    Little Doug Julian to help fix the chain on my
    bike. I grateful that Doug helped fix my chain on my bike
    I’m so sorry for his passing.
