Arvin Bert Carter

 

 

Arvin Bert Carter, 63, passed away October 7, 2017 peacefully at his home with his family by his side. He was born February 14, 1954 to Howard and Betty Carter.

He married his childhood sweetheart, Jolena Frank, in 1972 and they have enjoyed 45 wonderful years together. He is survived by his wife; his daughter, Tami Jo (Justin); his two amazing grandchildren, Tyson and Teanna.  He lived for his grandchildren.  There is nothing he wouldn’t do for them.

He is also survived by four brothers and a sister, Robert (Karen) Carter, Harold Carter, both of Spanish Fork; Douglas (Annette) Carter, Salt Lake City; Joseph (Deanna) Durbin, of Salem; and Ruth Boren, of Provo.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at Walker Funeral Home, 187 S. Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah. Family and friends may visit on Friday evening, October 13, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and on Saturday morning from 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to services.  Burial will be in the Provo City Cemetery.

    I remember Uncle Arvin and Aunt JoJo fondly during the difficult situation of my youth. They were a constant and I love them for that.
